We all enjoyed our stay at the Artola Gardens apartment. The apartment was well equipped with all the cooking facilities we needed. In fact my brother in law who's a brilliant cook prepared a meal for us all and my sister, her husband and boys came over and we had dinner on the balcony while the boys watched a dvd.
The pool area is very well kept and lovely if you want a quiet swim, most days we had it all to ourselves. The apartment was very convienient for the marina and beach. We walked down in about 7 minutes. We also used the bus service to go to Benalmadena and Calahonda. Just 1 euro each to go to Calahonda itself, much cheaper than getting a taxi.
We had a lovely relaxing week and it was great that Gary could collect us from the airport. Thanking you very much for everything.

Many thanks for the use of your holiday apartment in Cabopino. We all arrived home safe and rested after a very enjoyable holiday, the apartment was perfect for holiday requirements for all our family. We particularly loved the large terrace and were pleasantly surprised that the lovely garden and pool were literally on our doorstep... we had the pool to ourselves 8 out of 9 days!
Cabopino is really lovely, the marina is beautiful and the beach is the best in the area.
I don't like to drive on the "other side of the road" but this didn't cause a problem as the bus service is excellent and very cheap, we visited nearby Calahonda, Fuengirola and beautiful Marbella all by bus.
The airport pick up service was great and Sue and Gary were both friendly and informative, a big thank you to a nice couple!
The apartment rental represented great value for money and I would recommend same to any family considering the area for a pleasant, safe and enjoyable holiday in the sun.

Just wanted to drop a quick line to say thank-you so much for helping to organise our last minute trip to Artola Apartment last week.
The service you gave was excellent from Gary the taxi driver to Alan your caretaker who met us on our arrival. The apartment was spotless and more than comfortable for our five day stay. The view from the balcony was probably our favourite bit and we would definitely like to return at some point. Hopefully sooner rather than later!!!! Thank you also for accommodating our late departure!

The apartments are the perfect place for a family holiday if you want to mix activity with peace and quiet. The location is ideal for the kids, who play for hours in safety on the nearby beach. Lost copunt of the local restaurants all serving superb food. Accomodation is just right for families and the pool is superb.
I have used the company for three years now and never been let down, would recommend them to anyone looking for a relaxing time in the sun.
I have stayed at the Artola Appartments for a two week holiday for two years running with my husband and toddler. The appartments were very clean and homely with only a 5 minute walk from the beach. This is a perfect holiday for families or couples with the local restaurants and bars and lots of places to visit close by. The lady we booked our holiday through was very pleasant and helpful and we look forward to staying at Artola again this summer.
We stayed in the ground floor apartment in June 2007 and what a lovely find the Artola Appartments were. Well equiped, lovely and clean and suprisingly spacious.The ground floor appartment has a large terrace to enjoy the warm evenings and a secure gate that leads you to the pool area and beautiful garden which was great for our 5 year old twins. Would definately visit again!
My wife and I stayed in one of the three bedroom apartments on the top floor in Artola Gardens earlier this month. We found the apartment clean and spacious and the view from the large balcony is beautiful, all the way down the coast.Alan the caretaker was very helpful with hiring a car which we were glad we did so that we could visit more resorts along the coast. Especially the terrace and the view is enchanting. Your charming apartment up high in the sky with the extraordinary view from the terrace and also that the terrace is so wonderfully spacious, where you can lounge unseen by any prying eyes.Your caretaker Alan and his wife were very kind and provided good and fast service. We enjoyed so much that my wife and I are staying again for 6 weeks in apartment 1 during March and April 2007
My wife, baby son and myself have stayed in apartments 403 and 404 twice this year (Feb & April 2006). I´ve also stayed one night on the ground floor apartment as a guest of friends in 2004. All apartments are clean and spacious and well equipped with all the facilities to cater for 6 adults (or in our case a wife, a baby plus a snoring husband -ie a spare
bedroom or two) I usually stay at the Artola Hotel when travelling on business on my own but insist on the apartments when travelling with my family.
The booking is easy and casual with the smooth natured Irish ladies and Alan the caretaker is very prompt and helpful, (especially when we´ve left the keys inside). Another couple (part of the Hotel family next door) have acquired an apartment in the same block and asked me if they should let it through the same firm. I´ve said yes without hesitation.
The Hotel allows use of their facilities, bar, food and pool if you buy enough drinks and in my opinion both the apartments and hotel are an "Oasis". The newly built pool is also great but coolish at the time of posting this message. The 24 Hour Pharmacy is also a bonus with a baby and hangovers!

My wife and I have just returned from a 10 week stay at Apartment 109, Artola Gardens. We had a really enjoyable time and the apartment is well positioned to play some golf and excellent tennis at the Club del Sol, close to the coast to go swimming and stroll along the beach or a short drive into the hills to beautiful scenery and villages.
The apartment is centrally situated between Marbella and Fuengirola, being 12 and 14 Km respectively along the N340, which runs adjacent to the Artola apartments. We stayed at the apartment from mid Jan until late March and found that it was chilly and damp for the early part of our stay, and were grateful for the electric heaters in the absence of heating/air conditioning. The apartment is well designed and functional. The beds are new and comfortable, the kitchen and dining area are fine, a ceramic hob and microwave being the facilities for cooking. We did not miss an oven as so often these are not as clean as you would wish and therefore are not comfortable using them. The bathroom was adequate and the good sized patio looks out on the pool and gardens.
If I had one complaint it would be that the two settees are becoming tired and they should be considered for replacement in the not too distant future.
We considered the biggest asset to be Alan and Ann who are the caretakers for Costasolrentals. They were most helpful in sorting out any problems promptly and advising us on local information.
